Adults Need Yard Games Too

This week we realized something important while researching other rental companies; Most rental businesses focus almost entirely on kids.

Inflatables.

Bounce houses.

Water slides.

And listen, we love kids. We're teachers, we have five of our own kids between the two of us. Plus a grandkid. We practically survive on chaos, coffee and fruit snacks.

But yard games are usually treated like an afterthought. It's always: "Sure...throw in a cornhole for another $75." Because if someone's already spending hundreds on a bounce house, companies figure a yard game add-on won't matter.

But here's the thing...

We do offer games that are great for kids, teenagers and young adults. But do you know who REALLY loves yard games?

Adults.

Adults who spent years at:

  • House parties

  • Bonfires

  • Garage parties

  • College tailgates

  • BBQs

  • Summer cookouts

Adults who have actual memories attached to these games. There's nostalgia there. Competition, laughing, stories, people yelling "THAT DEFINITELY HIT THE CAN!" like they are competing for a gold medal.

And honestly? Adults deserve fun too.

We've noticed something else while scrolling Facebook Marketplace: People are constantly selling yard games. And you can practically hear the regret in the listings:

"Used twice."

"Like new."

"Need gone ASAP."

Because everyone thinks, "We'll totally use this all the time!" Then reality hits. You use it twice a year. It lives in your garage or basement. Your spouse trips over it repeatedly. Now giant wooden games are competing for storage space with the Christmas decorations, hockey bags, beach chairs and three mystery bins nobody has opened since 2018. Eventually people just want that stuff gone.

You get all the fun without:

  • Spending a fortune upfront.

  • Losing storage space.

  • Hauling giant games around.

  • Fighting over who has to store it afterward.

We deliver it.

You enjoy it.

We take it away.

Simple.

At the end of the day, we believe people are craving connection more than ever before. And sometimes all you really need is good music, a backyard, a few competitive friends and one person taking cornhole way too seriously.

Honestly? That sounds like a pretty great night to us.

With coffee, chaos and big dreams,

Julie & Maria
